Permits:  
Prior to connecting to the Cupertino Sanitary District sewer, a Connection Permit and a Lateral Sewer Permit are required. A copy of the application is provided below. Before you visit, call us , we may be able to help you save time and determine the cost or special requirments needed to accommodate your permit issues. More information on permits and fees can be found in the Operations Code. The Permit must be filled out at the District Office (takes about ten minutes).

CONTRACTOR’S REGISTRATION:  
All Contractors working on Cupertino Sanitary District facilities must register with the District Manager prior to any work. Contractors must be licensed under the State Contractor’s License Law and must carry insurance as specified in the Operations Code. Please either call or stop by our office and we will assist you with any questions and will help fill out the application. For more details see Chapter V, Construction of Sewers in the Operations Code.

PLAN SUBMITTALS:  
Prior to construction of Cupertino Sanitary Sewer District facilities, plans must be submitted, reviewed and approved by the District. All plans are to be sealed and signed by an engineer qualified to do the work and that is registered in the State of California.
     
     
INSPECTION REQUESTS:  
All requests for inspection of construction on Cupertino Sanitary Sewer District facilities are to be made 48 hours prior to the time of inspection. Please call our office for the inspection request (408) 253-7071.
